NXT Ladder Up grew out of the belief that sport, the arts and educational enrichment should be within reach for every young person, whatever their circumstances.
Working with young people showed us something important. Great activity gets young people through the door, but on its own it doesn’t guarantee progress or even sustainable benefit. We believe to make a real difference we need to be more intentional — targeting deliberate development, positive relationships, real responsibility and support in taking the next step.
That approach became our pathway, Access → Process → Success, with our development framework, CLIMB, at the heart of our efforts.
To grow that work and hold it to charitable standards, we became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
